Munro bagging is the name given to the hobby of climbing Munros - Scottish mountains which are over 3000 feet in height. It is a popular pastime in Scotland with over 6,000 people registering as having "compleated" the whole set (according to The Munro Society), an impressive feat considering there are 282 Munros in the current tables!
